Stop-motion animated living plants.
I animate real plants both in the wild and in the studio. I delicately wrap their arms with armature wire and introduce them to dancing through stop-motion animation. The looping videos showcase the timelessness and magic of a world overlooked by most. There is no editing or compositing in post-production, everything is entirely real and captured in-camera, acting as documentation of our collaboration.
These videos are presented as immersive installation called Hidden Earth, as well as placed inside Ghost Vitrines using pepper's ghost.
